But this isn’t all. Different places and ways to advertise, some free and some you have to pay a small price to use.

Using my experiences with some programs I have either recently joined, or have recently launched I want to demonstrate Team Working in action. In later posts we will be looking at the companies mentioned in more depth and showing you why you should join us.

For quite some time I have been part of another Team Working Group, but recently the aims of it changed and didn’t fit in with what I was doing. I am still a member of it and contribute and use what fits in with my vision of where I should be going. While I was part of it I was introduced to one the Teams I am now part of whose aims and vision better fits my own.

The initial program I joined was Fortune 5 Minutes. This is an umbrella company owned by Rick Mathews, who asks who sent you to the site and tells you to subscribe under them. I knew who mine was because the person who introduced me to it also insisted on maintaining sponsorship integrity.

Which reinforces the above lesson i.e. people do join Teams, but their vision, aims, etc change and they no longer wish to be part of it. And this has happened to me. I have contacted him and been told he is no longer interested.

This, Carl Haavaldsen, who is one of the people in my upline, another is Nigel Bond, is a problem with but the solution has been built into the new program, BBS Global Diamond Elite, he has just launched with Mike Dutton and Ben Davis.

Team Work is practiced within these programs, but it is also practiced by the programs themselves as they have got together with each other and with other programs. Among the other programs Fortune 5 Minutes (F5M) has partnered with is Lead Generating Tool (LGT).

Let us look at each of these programs in turn starting with F5M.

More and more people are realising that to succeed with internet marketing you have to get together with others. I this Blog I want to introduce you to the networks I belong to. I start with a definition of Team Working from one of them.

Teamwork skills include the mix of interactive, interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills needed by a group of people working on a common task, in complementary roles, towards a common goal whose outcomes are greater than those possible by any one person working independently.

Why teamwork is always important?

There are few jobs that don’t require us to interact with colleagues in a team. For the most part, we need to work cohesively with others at our workplaces to achieve the organisational goals.

But how many of us can really claim to be good teammates?

Team building skills are critical for your effectiveness as a manager or entrepreneur. And even if you are not in a management or leadership role yet, better understanding of team work can make you a more effective employee and give you an extra edge in your corporate office.

A team building success is when your team can accomplish something much bigger and work more effectively than a group of the same individuals working on their own. You have a strong synergy of individual contributions. But there are two critical factors in building a high performance team.

The first factor in team effectiveness is the diversity of skills and personalities. When people use their strengths in full, but can compensate for each other’s weaknesses. When different personality types balance and complement each other.

The other critical element of team work success is that all the team efforts are directed towards the same clear goals, the team goals. This relies heavily on good communication in the team and the harmony in member relationships.

In real life, team work success rarely happens by itself, without focused team building efforts and activities. There is simply too much space for problems. For example, different personalities, instead of complementing and balancing each other, may build up conflicts. Or even worse, some people with similar personalities may start fighting for authority and dominance in certain areas of expertise. Even if the team goals are clear and accepted by everyone, there may be no team commitment to the group goals or no consensus on the means of achieving those goals: individuals in the team just follow their personal opinions and move in conflicting directions. There may be a lack of trust and openness that blocks the critical communication and leads to loss of coordination in the individual efforts. And on and on. This is why every team needs a good leader who is able to deal with all such team work issues.
